  • The City of Mississauga’s Cycling Master Plan (CMP) is a council-approved document that guides planning for cycling across the city. It includes a cycling network map of existing and proposed cycling infrastructure designed to make it easy and safe for people to ride their bicycles around the CityThe CMP also includes policies, programs and plans to support the implementation and use of the cycling network by the residents of and visitors to Mississauga.

The CMP was first developed in 2010 and is updated regularly to ensure it reflects the needs and values of community members and meets new and changing City guidelines such as the City’s Changing Lanes Complete Streets Guide and Vision Zero Action Plan. The CMP was last updated in 2018.  Since then, the City has continued working towards building the cycling network.
