Archaeology Management Plan Survey
The City of Mississauga is preparing the City’s first Archaeological Management Plan driven by the responsibilities delegated to the City from the Province. This year-long project aims to develop new tools and frameworks to strengthen the City’s planning and policy processes for managing archaeological resources within the City’s administrative limits. Consultation and engagement with Indigenous communities, partners, and the public will extend throughout the life of this project to provide opportunities for information sharing, feedback, and education.
The personal information is collected under the authority of Section 11 of the Municipal Act 2001, and will be used to develop the Archaeology Management Plan. Questions about this collection should be directed to Heritage Planning staff, heritage.planning@mississauga.ca, telephone 905-615-3200, ext. 4061.
