Cultural Heritage Landscapes project

Council has endorsed the Conserving Heritage Landscapes project.

Rooted in community engagement, the project was a study to identify significant Cultural Heritage Landscapes (CHLs). CHLs are areas of cultural heritage value or interest. Twenty-eight CHLs are now recognized, including parks, unique neighbourhoods, historic villages, scenic streets and more.

The project also includes recommendations tailored to managing change within these areas. For more information, see the Cultural Heritage Landscapes Report.
