I am all for it

This is the worst decision the city could have taken. The doubled-up all-way stop signs are redundant and inefficient. The concrete barriers set up and the chalk-art is extremely ugly. No one is going to play in that park anyways as is. If anything it was beautiful greenery before, now it is ugly 21st century urban "art". Looks like a teenager designed the road and then graffiti-ed it. Go back to a normal roundabout and pilot these dumb ideas elsewhere.

As parents in the area we find that this project has improved the safety of this area immensely and we appreciate that this has been done. We don’t believe that the road signs in the area accurately capture the sentiments of the majority of residents in this neighborhood.

If after the trial period we are going to keep the redirected roads, then could we at least rip up the painted pavement and replace with green space. Perhaps we could have community gardens or native plants or even just a wild field. This is an opportunity to reduce the pavement in our city and improve our environment.
