Increasing Housing Choices in Neighbourhoods Study

<h2>A safer roadway for everyone</h2><p>The City of Mississauga is rehabilitating and redesigning the roadway around Bert Fleming Park to make it safer and easier to access for everyone.</p><p>This project will be bundled with other road improvement and renewal projects, such as necessary road resurfacing work, to improve efficiency and costs to the community. This means that construction only needs to happen once.</p><p>Improvements and renewals include:</p><ul><li>Rehabilitated roads</li><li>Improved intersections</li><li>Increased road safety</li><li>New transit infrastructure</li><li>Renewed landscaping</li></ul><h2>Selected design alternative</h2><p>A design alternative is an option for completing an infrastructure project. For the roadway around Bert Fleming Park, a total of ten design alternatives were considered before the City selected the design alternative featuring a modification of the original configuration with two-way traffic and two mini-roundabouts.</p><p>More information about the project, the reason for the redesign, design alternatives and project updates are available at <a data-fr-linked="true" href="//www.mississauga.ca/thecreditwoodlands">www.mississauga.ca/thecreditwoodlands</a>.</p>

<h2>Project overview</h2><p>The City is updating the Cycling Master Plan (CMP).
