On Monday September 28, 2020 we will be presenting a report to the City’s Planning and Development Committee (PDC) addressing issues raised at an earlier Public Meeting on February 3, 2020 related to the City’s mall-based nodes. Planning and Building staff will provide a recommendation on the proposal and PDC will make a decision at the meeting.
The report will be available on-line one week prior to the meeting at:

On Monday February 3, 2020 we will be presenting the draft Official Plan Amendment related to the City’s mall-based nodes to the City’s Planning and Development Committee (PDC). These new policies will apply to the Central Erin Mills Major Node as well as the Malton, Meadowvale, Rathwood-Applewood, Sheridan and South Common Community Nodes. We invite you to attend the PDC meeting to ask questions and share your views about the proposed amendment (which includes policies related to maximum building heights and densities, maintenance of retail function, affordable housing, block sizes, development master plans and sustainability).
