Slow Streets program
About the program
The Slow Streets program is a City road safety initiative that helps to reduce speeds on neighbourhood streets using temporary traffic calming devices. On Slow Streets, temporary traffic calming devices like barricades, flexible bollards, barrels and signage are installed along the roadway, giving pedestrians and cyclists space to move around.
