Story of M

Your story can shape our city.

The City of Mississauga wants to capture Mississauga’s entire story. Everything from our early Indigenous roots to present day newcomer diversity. The Story of M will collect these stories and use them to influence exhibits and programming at the Museums and how heritage is reflected in the city.

The Museums of Mississauga will be going across Mississauga in an effort to collect, listen to and share stories with residents.

There’s lots of ways that you can contribute to Mississauga’s legacy.

  1. Come share your story and hear stories from neighbours and friends during an evening of storytelling. It can be about your first experience moving to Mississauga, or your great-grandmothers memory of growing up on a farm in Meadowvale.
  2. Spread the word using #StoryofM. Share your thoughts and ideas with us on Twitter @SaugaMuseums.
  3. Join our online discussions. Stay tuned for twitter chats!
