The Credit Woodlands integrated road project

A safer roadway for everyone

The City of Mississauga is rehabilitating and redesigning the roadway around Bert Fleming Park to make it safer and easier to access for everyone.

This project will be bundled with other road improvement and renewal projects, such as necessary road resurfacing work, to improve efficiency and costs to the community. This means that construction only needs to happen once.

Improvements and renewals include:

• Rehabilitated roads
• Improved intersections
• Increased road safety
• New transit infrastructure
• Renewed landscaping

Selected design alternative

A design alternative is an option for completing an infrastructure project. For the roadway around Bert Fleming Park, a total of ten design alternatives were considered before the City selected the design alternative featuring a modification of the original configuration with two-way traffic and two mini-roundabouts.
