The City's public art program commissions professional artists to create visual art for public spaces.
The City is working on improving Elmcreek Parkto better serve the community and provide new and improved features for residents and visitors. These enhancements include: a barrier-free playground to replace the current one, shaded seating areas with umbrella tables, a beach volleyball court, an upgraded basketball court, fitness stations, a natural ice rink, an improved spray pad, and a community plaza.
As part of these upgrades, the public art program invited three professional artists to submit proposals for the design of the new and improved basketball court!
