Official Plan Review
As Mississauga continues to evolve, so does our Official Plan.
Mississauga’s Official Plan policies address important parts of city-building shape our city, including transportation, housing, culture and heritage, the environment, and the economy.
The Official Plan addresses things like:
- where housing, industry, offices, shops, and roads should go
- which services and amenities (e.g. parks, schools, transit) are needed and where they will be located
- what parts of the city will be the focus for growth and what it will look like
- what must be considered for growth and development

Integrating the aging population and letting them stay close in their own homes until the end with dignity & close to their grandkids is missing. Mental well being of both young & aging population is important. Flooding the city with High rises is not a great idea. Let the builders move out of the city now to build Highrises and then invest in Highway infrastructure. Government can float Infrastructure funds for general public to invest, that way, peoples money will work for them.

Recently, many new developments are very bland and do not achieve a sense of place. Quality architecture needs to be required, or Mississauga will become uglier.

I believe if we made all of our public transporttion electric so that way there can be less vehicles on the road and less gas emmisions in the air. Transportation that runs on Electricity can reduce lots of gas emissions.

My suggestion is to add more bike stations with bikes so people can get around without using gas or fuel to get around. Bikes are beneficial to the environment and are a good replacement instead of cars to get someone quickly. There aren't many bike stations in Mississauga so we could add more.
